What the role is: The Resilience and Engagement Division (RED) helps build a strong society by strengthening social capital, and inspiring and empowering individuals to contribute to the common good. We do this through three pillars of work: fostering a strong and inclusive sense of national identity; strengthening local-foreign integration and promoting volunteerism and philanthropy. What you will be working on: One of the ways by which government agencies encourage active citizenry is by providing grants to citizens and ground up organisations for their initiatives. You will be part of a team that strengthens grants governance and management for citizen-facing grants. The team also manages the Our Singapore Fund (OSF) and Our Singapore Grants (OSG) portal, which supports meaningful projects by passionate Singaporeans that strengthen national identity or meet social and community needs. As a Business Operations Product Owner for the OSG Portal, you will be working on: Translate policy intent into business operation processes. Lead and manage business process improvements, conduct market research and develop business contingency plans. Evaluate upstream and downstream impact to business processes. Confirm functional and business process requirements, develop scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Propose business process changes and support change management and communications. Data custodian responsible for access control and data patching. Perform business operational activities and handle business queries (e.g. change management, billing, training and business FAQ). Work closely with the IT team to digitalise business processes to achieve operation excellence and business process efficiency. What we are looking for: Work Experience and Knowledge At least 1 year's working experience, preferably in a role that involves digital systems and project management. Competencies Deep Critical Thinking: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think and reason from first principles with minimal guidance. Distil critical issues and sense‐make from a wide range of information, arriving at effective solutions. Data‐Driven Analysis: Utilise data analytics directly or indirectly to support analysis and simulate the impact of different options. Translate findings into actionable insights that advance policy analysis and solutioning. Stakeholder Engagement, Including Internal Stakeholders: Identify and prioritise stakeholders based on issue or domain area. Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders. Business Development & Needs Analysis: Engage users and analyse data gathered to understand business needs, constraints and requirements for new opportunities. Explore relevant digital innovations, solutions or programmes to address business needs and leverage on upcoming trends. Other Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
