We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating technical drawings for mechanical (air-conditioning), electrical, fire protection (sprinklers), and plumbing systems in renovation projects.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent .
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in MEP drafting.
  • Experience in construction, engineering consultancy , or building services projects preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Strong understanding of MEP services layout , installation sequencing, and coordination principles.
  • Familiarity with local building codes , standards (e.g. BCA/ Singapore codes, if relevant)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare coordinated MEP drawings (plans, sections, details) based on design inputs and site conditions.
  • Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical, air-conditioning, fire sprinkler, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawing accuracy.
  • Incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback and ensure timely updates.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and drawing logs.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and project specifications .
  • Assist in material take-offs (MTOs) or bill of quantities (BOQ) when required.
