Associate Director / Medical Writer – Real-World Evidence Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. Scientific Writing & Content Development Draft, edit, and finalise scientific documents including study protocols, statistical analysis plans, study reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and conference posters. Translate complex data from real-world studies (e.g., retrospective analyses, registries, chart reviews) into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences. Support the development of evidence summaries, value dossiers, slide decks, and other client-facing materials. 2. Quality & Compliance Ensure all written materials are scientifically accurate, clearly presented, and aligned with project objectives and client requirements. Adhere to relevant publication standards, data privacy requirements, and ethical guidelines. Participate in internal quality review processes and incorporate feedback to deliver high-standard outputs. Work closely with project managers, epidemiologists, and data analysts to ensure scientific accuracy and consistency across deliverables. Contribute to project planning discussions, helping to shape communication strategies and timelines. Support literature reviews and background research to inform study design and contextualise findings. About You We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented writer with a strong scientific background and a passion for evidence-based healthcare communication. 2–5 years of experience in medical writing, scientific communication, or related roles in the life sciences sector (consultancy, CRO, pharma, or academia). Proven ability to write clear, accurate, and engaging scientific content for a variety of audiences. Strong understanding of clinical research, epidemiology, or real-world evidence generation. Excellent attention to detail, with strong editing and quality-control skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under deadlines. Advanced degree (MSc, MPH, PhD, PharmD, or similar) in life sciences, public health, epidemiology, or a related field preferred. Strong command of written English; additional Asian languages are a plus. About the Team The Healthcare Service Line works with Pharmaceutical, bio-tech, medical device manufacturers and technology companies throughout the project lifecycle from early stage strategy, to launch of a new product, to product optimization.In addition to custom research, the healthcare Service Line also works on therapeutic centers of expertise in Oncology, Autoimmune, Virology and more.
