Reporting to: Business Manage – Chockfast
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform inspection, installation, chocking of engines, stern tubes, deck machinery on a variety of vessels.
Communicate with superior for briefing of service-related works.
Prepare necessary service reports, ISO work instructions, risk assessments, and checklists for all works.
Coordinate with customers for planning and scheduling of activities prior to commencement of work and ensure appropriate approvals for the same.
Manpower and work schedule planning, mentor and supervise technicians in performing the service job.
Attend local and overseas seminars and conferences about new and high technology shipbuilding processes and trends.
Responsible for maintaining the workshop, plant equipment, and tools in good order and maintenance of good housekeeping in all job locations.
Report and document the activities carried out in line with the ISO standards and company requirements.
Establish and maintain a high degree of discipline among the workforce.
Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL:
Technical / Professional:
At least a Diploma in Engineering.
At least 5 years of working experience in Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry.
Technological:
Competent in Microsoft Office.
English speaking and report writing.
General:
Ability to work well under pressure.
Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent supervisory and mentorship skills.
People/Relations:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good team player with a good attitude, integrity, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
