Junior Paralegal

Main Responsibilities
Legal Support & Documentation:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including investment, partnership, vendor, and service agreements.
Regulatory & Compliance:
Support regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions, including securities laws, financial regulations, AML/KYC compliance, and data protection laws.
Corporate Governance:
Assist in corporate structuring, entity management, and regulatory filings, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Transactions & Due Diligence:
Conduct legal research and due diligence on potential investments, M&A transactions, token offerings, and other strategic initiatives.
Risk Management:
Identify potential legal and compliance risks, providing recommendations to mitigate exposure.
External Coordination:
Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and key stakeholders to support legal and compliance matters.
Policy Development & Training:
Assist in the development of internal policies, training programs, and best practices to foster a strong culture of compliance within the organization.
Legal Operations:
Maintain legal documentation, manage contract databases, and implement efficient legal processes to support business operations.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years & above of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or financial services.
Strong background in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
Experience supporting complex deals, including M&A, partnerships, and token offerings.
Knowledge of global financial regulations, securities laws, AML/KYC requirements, and data protection laws.
Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate evolving regulatory frameworks.
Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Prior experience working with Web3, fintech, or cryptocurrency-related matters is highly preferred.
