Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and analytical individual to oversee and manage our organization's treasury activities and credit risk exposure. This role involves cash management, banking activities, assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements, developing risk policies, monitoring existing credit portfolios, and recommending strategies to minimize potential losses while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash portfolio, banking relationships, intercompany funding, debt-related and insurance-related activities across Asia region.
  • Evaluate credit risk for new and existing customers by analyzing financial data, credit reports, and market conditions.
  • Adhere to established credit risk policies, develop, implement, and maintain models and procedures for sound credit decision-making.
  • Monitor credit exposures and recommend mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed credit risk assessments, reports, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Collaborate with business units to structure credit terms aligning with our company's risk appetite.
  • Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis to assess potential impact on the credit portfolio.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of credit risk systems and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in credit risk analysis, financial modeling, or risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis and cash flow modeling.
  • Familiarity with credit scoring models and risk rating systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with risk management software and business intelligence tools; at least 5 years' work experience in petrochemical industries preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
