We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our organization as a Senior Legal Counsel.

About the Role

  • Provide strategic and practical legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters in Singapore.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts for service agreements, licensing, partnerships, joint ventures, and employment-related agreements.
  • Advise on compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks, including the Companies Act, Employment Act, Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and other industry-specific regulations.
  • Support governance matters such as board resolutions, regulatory filings, and secretarial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure business objectives are met while minimizing legal risks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate legal risk management into business decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with regulators and external counsel on Singapore-specific issues.
  • Lead or support internal initiatives to strengthen compliance programs, policies, and risk management frameworks.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a recognized Singapore law degree (LL.B.) and called to the Singapore Bar.
  • 6–10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally with a mix of top-tier law firms and in-house experience.
  • Strong expertise in Singapore corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management.
