Design & Media Management Traineeship (Virtual Production) ( )Role overview The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service ( ) provides fresh graduates with industry‐relevant skills and experience to strengthen employability in full‐time public sector roles. This traineeship supports the Media, Arts & Design school in immersive game development and Virtual Production. Responsibilities and learning opportunities Immersive Game Development Support – Assist in prototyping, testing, and refining game‐based learning experiences and interactive environments. Virtual Production Assistance – Support technical setup, operation, and troubleshooting of virtual production tools and workflows. Learning Material Development – Collaborate with lecturers to create engaging, pedagogically sound content for immersive and virtual production modules. Project & Operations Management – Coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables for creative and academic projects. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with lecturers, students, and external partners to support project outcomes. Specific work tasks Plan and manage timelines, resources, and workflows for immersive game and virtual production projects. Assist in producing video assets, virtual scenes, and interactive materials for educational and promotional use. Prepare regular updates on project milestones. Requirements Recent graduate in design, media, communications, or related fields with interest in immersive technologies and virtual production. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and open to exploring AI tools for content creation and media production. Unreal skillset is a bonus. A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast‐paced environment. Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
