Job Title: Project Planning Professional
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced project planning professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop programme schedules and timelines for construction work based on resource requirements and historical trending of such projects
- Incorporate robust construction methodology using innovative technology to optimize construction plans
- Highlight opportunities and risks associated with time-related aspects of bids
- Participate in business development meetings as needed
- Monitor project progress and adherence to project plans
- Discuss deviations to plans internally, identify causes and develop mitigation plans
- Presentation of revised timelines and negotiation with clients on modifications and changes
- Negotiation of improved terms and timelines with suppliers and subcontractors
- Application of various delay and disruption analysis methods
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Building or Civil Engineering and membership of a professional association
- At least 2 years' experience in project planning management for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Services projects
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6 planning software
- Knowledge of planning processes, tools, and stakeholder management
- Good understanding of construction methodologies
