Job Description

The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of a large-scale program. This requires strong competency in identifying and mitigating risks, monitoring progress, and managing dependencies across tracks.

The Program Director will work closely with Project Managers from each track to gather detailed updates, coordinate cross-track activities, and ensure alignment of deliverables.

A key responsibility is developing comprehensive risk management strategies, ensuring synchronized delivery across tracks, and driving key decisions through effective stakeholder management.

The Program Director will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring overall success of the program by delivering on time, within budget, meeting business requirements, and complying with governance frameworks.
  • Managing and monitoring plans, program milestones, risk, and change management to ensure delivery on schedule, within scope, and budget.
  • Planning and managing program scope, objectives, and desired outcomes, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
  • Leading the development of the overall program schedule and activities based on an appropriate methodology.
  • Building comprehensive work plans and ensuring team members are on-board with delegated tasks and activities.
  • Conducting regular meetings and providing progress and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Performing stakeholder management, including keeping relevant stakeholders informed of the program status.
  • Managing processes and procedures covering issue and risk management.
  • Closing the program successfully, including Performance Guarantee and Warranty Period.
  • Establishing and maintaining quality standards across all projects, ensuring deliverables meet specified requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • CITPM (Certified ICT Project Management Programme) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • A proven track record in managing large-scale programs in Singapore Government/banking and finance domains.
  • Knowledge of Singapore Government governance processes.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Atlassian suite for project tracking and team collaboration.
