Job Title: Finance Expert — Private Equity & Investment Banking Expert (Remote | $150/hr)
Employment Type: Hourly Contract (Remote)
Compensation: $150 per hour

About the RoleA leading AI research initiative is contracting Finance Experts to contribute domain expertise to a project designed to improve advanced foundational AI models. The role involves leveraging professional experience in investment banking or private equity to design, evaluate, and refine complex financial datasets that reflect real-world dealmaking and modeling workflows.
Qualifications- At least 2 years of experience at top firms in investment banking or private equity.
- Expertise in at least one product group or coverage group:
- Product Groups: Restructuring & Distressed Investing; PIPE / Convertible Security Models; IPO Modeling
- Coverage Groups: Biotech; Gaming & Lodging; Telecom; Media & Entertainment; Transportation & Logistics
Schedule: Fully remote, asynchronous.
Commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week.
Duration: Until December, with potential for future projects.
Successful contributors increase chances of selection for additional projects.
Vetting Process- Technical assessment (~30 minutes) testing financial expertise.
- Paid assessment (2 hours) evaluating modeling skills.
- Rate: $150/hour.
- Independent contractor role, classified as “at-will.”
- Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect, based on hours logged.
