Loan Conversion Specialist Job Overview

In this role, you will play a critical part in assessing and reviewing existing housing loan accounts for conversion eligibility. Your responsibilities will include preparing and submitting loan conversion cases for credit approval, drafting and verifying customer loan conversion offer letters, and monitoring and following up on approved conversions.

  • Conduct interviews with customers regarding loan redemption
  • Support management initiatives through ad-hoc tasks and assignments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and review existing housing loan accounts for conversion eligibility
  • Prepare and submit loan conversion cases for credit approval
  • Draft and verify customer loan conversion offer letters
  • Monitor and follow up on approved conversions, including handling any rework of offer letters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably within consumer banking
  • Solid understanding of retail banking products, particularly in mortgage financing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively across various stakeholders
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools, with an aptitude for data handling and analysis
