Join to apply for the Senior Financial Accountant role at Allianz Commercial Key Responsibilities Perform P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations. Support testing of systems and processes impacting the flow of financial information. Respond to audit and regulator queries in a timely manner. Assist in month‐end closing activities. Prepare MAS returns. Assist in corporate tax filing. Other ad‐hoc duties and projects as assigned. Education & Experience Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience. 3–5 years of professional experience in audit or commercial roles with the General Insurance Industry. Experience in MAS reporting and corporate tax. Proven understanding of GAAP & IFRS for insurance and reinsurance. Proficiency with SAP or any ERP system is an advantage. Ability to work on projects and in a team within a dynamic international environment. General Skills Good analytical thinking and numeracy. Initiative to identify and remediate issues and follow through on solutions. Strong communication and written skills. Fluency in English (other languages a plus). Technical Skills Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Comprehensive knowledge of local GAAP, IAS/IFRS, Regulation and Tax for reporting, compliance and declaration. Understanding of insurance financial statements and performance measurement, including drivers. Ability to leverage AI tools to support day‐to‐day tasks and data‐driven decision making.
