The role of Financial Business Partner supports global business expansion, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic decision‑making, investment analysis, business performance management, and cost optimization across global mining operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Decision Support & Financial Modeling Partner with leadership to support global business strategy planning and review. Lead feasibility studies for new markets and products, including IRR, NPV, and payback analysis. Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support investment decisions. Drive annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecasts to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Translate business insights into financial impact (revenue, margin, cash flow) and deliver actionable recommendations. 2. Business Performance Analysis & KPI Management Develop and refine core business KPIs (e.g., cost per TH, mining efficiency, global site profitability). Produce regular business performance reports and deep‑dive analysis of variance drivers. Identify financial risks and performance gaps; provide forward‑looking insights to support growth. 3. Asset & Cost Lifecycle Management Build end‑to‑end lifecycle models for key assets—from procurement to deployment, operations, and retirement. Lead global cost optimization initiatives such as energy cost management and efficiency improvement. Work with operations teams to optimize business processes, improve productivity, and enhance resource utilization. 4. Risk Management & Compliance Support Identify financial and operational risks across global sites and propose mitigation strategies. Work with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements. 5. Team & System Building Opportunity to build and lead the Finance BP function from the ground up. Work closely with business teams to enhance data‑driven decision‑making capabilities. Requirements Must‑Have Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields. Professional certifications such as CPA / CMA / ACCA are a strong advantage. 5–8 years of hands‑on finance experience, including at least 3 years as a Finance BP in: top‑tier hardware/manufacturing companies (e.g., CATL, Intel). Proven experience in full‑cycle financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis for asset‑heavy businesses. Technical Skills Strong command of financial modeling and analytical tools (Excel required; SQL/Tableau/Power BI a big plus). Deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, and ability to connect them with business drivers. Soft Skills Strong business curiosity and willingness to understand mining technology and industry dynamics. Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and operational teams. Strong problem‑solving ability and composure under pressure. Nice‑to‑Have Experience in crypto, blockchain, data centers, semiconductors, or commodities. Experience supporting global markets (US, Europe, Central Asia, etc.).
