BIM Management Role

Job Overview:

  • Assist in developing and implementing BIM strategies for company and project levels;
  • Review, develop, and maintain office BIM documentation standards;
  • Support the office in architectural projects requiring Building Integrated Modelling (BIM) and ensure completeness and accuracy of the BIM model and drawings;
  • Coordinate BIM with clients and external consultants;
  • Provide BIM training and supervision to staff members.

Detailed Job Requirements:

  • Maintain technical expertise in prevailing BIM standards and stay updated on BIM best practices;
  • Develop or co-author office BIM standards;
  • Ensure adherence to set technical guidelines by providing or co-authoring standard operating procedures;
  • Meet with senior management regularly and provide regular reports on individual performance, project status, and development of BIM standards;
  • Enforce adherence to technical procedures, documentations, and standard policies;
  • Set up and periodically review the BIM reference library;
  • Supervise and check the BIM model and drawings;
  • Develop and create BIM models and documents;
  • Schedule work to meet project deadlines;
  • Initiate BIM coordination with third parties;
  • Continuously coordinate BIM models with third parties such as consultants, specialists, contractors, clients, and others;
  • Provide technical training to the office and offer ongoing coaching and upgrading as required;
  • Assign specific tasks to each BIM team member and oversee their performance.
