Overview

My client, a leading professional services firm and winner of Accountancy Firm of the Year at the International Accounting Awards 2025, is expanding their leadership team. They provide audit & assurance, tax, accounting, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients including listed companies, SMEs, and non-profit organisations. As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I) Partner to lead and expand the firm’s practice in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to establish and grow a Restructuring & Insolvency practice within a globally connected firm. You’ll enjoy the autonomy of a partner-led environment while leveraging an international platform to drive cross-border mandates.

Responsibilities
  • Lead corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments (judicial management, liquidation, receivership, schemes of arrangement).
  • Develop recovery strategies involving asset sales, divestments, and debt/equity restructuring.
  • Act as an expert witness in litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Oversee claims, litigation support, forensic accounting, and damage quantification.
  • Build and maintain strong networks with legal counsel, financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor multidisciplinary teams and drive business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years’ experience in restructuring, insolvency, and dispute advisory.
  • Proven expertise advising MNCs and SMEs across sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of financial restructuring, distressed assets, and turnaround strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
