Play a pivotal role in the Department of Child Development as a key support staff member for clinicians. Collaborate to ensure early detection of developmental delays in preschoolers through administering developmental screening tests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Timely administer developmental screening tests at triage clinics to prompt accurate diagnoses and effective interventions.
  • Conduct other essential screening tests, such as LUCID Screen, to identify potential developmental issues.
  • Review parent and teacher questionnaires to gather comprehensive patient information.
  • Assist in screening K1 and K2 children referred to the Learning and Behavior track, providing vital support to young learners.
  • Maintain precise data entry for baseline data, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to drive clinic process improvements, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Arts, Social Services, Child Life, or Disability and Community Rehabilitation, or a related field of study.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong communication and writing skills.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with clinicians and staff.
