Public Sector Sales Manager

The successful candidate will focus on developing and articulating solutions for our clients, working with multi-functional teams, and engaging at the most senior levels of our clients' organizations in the Public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate sales opportunities to achieve short and long-term revenue and profit growth.
Execute direct sales programs and initiatives to drive sales and increase share of wallet of customers.
Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned accounts.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end IT application services within the local competitive environment.
Manage the entire sales process from pre-sales to post-sales.
Lead engagement with partners in customer interactions and solutioning.
Prepare and deliver proposals, participating both in writing and orally with the engagement team.
Engage with customers at all levels to develop long-term business relationships.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders in the sales approval process.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Proven 5 to 8 years of experience in IT application solutions sales, with a strong understanding of network, infrastructure, and security technologies.
At least 5 years of experience in IT application or solutions sales or consulting, preferably in an SI environment.
Experience in application solution selling.
Ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet revenue quotas.
Experience selling with partners and enterprise customers.
Experience selling to public sector clients (Government/Healthcare).
