Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack, DevOps) Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack & DevOps) to join us on a contract basis until 31 March 2027. The role oversees product development, system integration, and architecture design of applications used by public officers. Key products include the Service Management platform powered by ServiceNow, web and mobile applications, and integration of AI/LLM capabilities. Responsibilities Lead product development, system integration, and architecture design for applications used by public officers in partnership with product managers. Manage application development teams and ensure alignment with product roadmaps and requirements. Translate business requirements into technical product roadmaps, prototypes, and proofs of concept. Provide application operational and technical support, ensuring product availability, resilience, security and L2 support in incident management. Serve as technical lead for in-house teams, coach and mentor, manage performance, and provide constructive feedback and growth guidance. Guide and support outsourced vendors, promoting good engineering practices such as DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Cloud Computing. Drive the adoption of SG TechStack, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and coach teams on best practices. Partner with stakeholders and agencies to prioritize and manage roadmaps, maximizing engineering effectiveness and impact. Assist in the recruitment of software engineers. Qualifications Extensive experience in application architecture, system integration, and data architecture. Strong background in modern full‑stack web application technologies: React, React Native (TypeScript, JavaScript), Node.js (TypeScript), .NET (C#), and native iOS (Swift, Objective‑C). Proven track record in leading development teams and managing outsourced vendors. Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, SRE, and Cloud Computing practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Hands‑on experience designing and implementing prototypes for proofs of concept. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Benefits Contract staff enjoys the same benefits as permanent employees.
