Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our organization. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading our financial strategy and ensuring the financial well-being of the company.

Your primary duties will include managing and maintaining full sets of accounts, handling all aspects of accounting matters, including management reporting, taxation, and monthly accounts closing. You will also be responsible for preparing tax schedules, liaising with tax agents, and developing and implementing group accounting and reporting guidelines.

In addition, you will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to management, handle statutory reporting and professional advisory matters, and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting roles handling multiple full sets of accounts for different entities
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, GST, and Corporate Tax
  • Proficient in managing full set accounting, preferably within the shipping and marine-related companies
  • Hands-on experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS office applications
  • Bilingual (English & Chinese) able to communicate effectively with clients
