Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with residents, staff, and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome new residents and assist with the check-in/out process.
  • Address residents'/clients' inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Organize and coordinate resident activities and events to promote a sense of community.
  • Performing inspections of maintenance and cleanliness of dormitory facilities, including common areas and individual rooms.
  • Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
  • Enforce security protocols, including access control and visitor policies.
  • Respond to emergency and mitigate situations.
  • Address safety hazards and highlight to Dormitory Manager.
  • Manage dormitory records and documentation, including resident records, incident reports, and maintenance logs.
  • Coordinate room allocations with Admin Executive.
  • Email and telephone correspondence with clients and residents.
  • Mediate conflicts among residents and address behavioural issues in a fair and respectful manner.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with residents, staff, and management.
  • Foster a sense of community and inclusivity among residents.
  • Organize and facilitate social and educational events to encourage resident engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with in-house rules and FEDA regulations.
  • Address any issues or challenges that may arise within the dormitory, such as maintenance emergencies or resident disputes.
  • Keep records of dormitory occupancy, maintenance requests, and resident feedback and provide reports to Dormitory Manager.
