Research Fellow (Optical Imaging and Sensing Technologies)Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT), School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Overview CDPT is seeking a Research Fellow to lead a project that advances next‐generation optical imaging and sensing technologies, enabling new capabilities for quantum science, environmental monitoring, and advanced microscopy. Key Responsibilities Conduct research in optical imaging, spectroscopy and related photonic applications. Design and operate photonic and optoelectronic platforms, including advanced microscopy and spectroscopy equipment. Collaborate with internal and external research teams. Contribute to scientific publications and present findings at international conferences. Support laboratory operations and contribute to progress reports and project meetings. Job Requirements Ph.D. in Physics, Optical/Photonic Engineering, Materials Science, or closely related discipline. Experience in optical imaging, spectroscopy, integrated photonics or optoelectronic systems. Strong publication record in international peer‐reviewed journals. Familiarity with photonic interactions, light‐matter coupling, or structured light optical systems (preferred). Background in nanofabrication and sample preparation methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. NTU is committed to diversity and inclusion and seeks a diverse workforce.
