Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Operations Expert to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure while driving automation and innovation across system operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provisioning and Management: Provision, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments;
  • Virtualization and Deployment: Manage deployment and lifecycle of virtual machines, storage, and databases on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security policies, manage user access, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards;
  • Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor and optimize system performance and resource utilization; identify and resolve technical issues;
  • Automation and DevOps: Automate routine system and infrastructure tasks;
  • Software Deployment and Upgrade: Deploy and upgrade application software and reports; participate in planning and change management;
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support system integration and cloud-based deployments;
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution, including dry runs and real-time failover scenarios;
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage vendor relationships and participate in incident reporting and resolution;
  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost optimization opportunities across infrastructure footprint.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in information technology;
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience, particularly with knowledge of cloud security best practices;
  • Hands-on experience in Windows, Linux, AIX operating systems;
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms;
  • Familiarity with middleware, data warehouses, and data integration tools;
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools, as well as scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash;
  • Good team player and ability to work independently.
