Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing high-level system administration tasks, optimizing system operation and resource utilization, and performing in-depth analysis of system capacity planning.

  • Update firmware, device profiles, and operating system images for both testing and production environments.
  • Maintain fully patched/updated/mitigated operating system image and provide expert assistance to customers with virtual desktop infrastructure operations.
  • Collaborate with other systems administrators to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues affecting customer's virtual computing environment.
  • Work directly with VMware VCenter Server/ESXi Hosts and VMware Horizon View Administrator to maintain virtual client pools and virtual machines for maximum efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in VDI managed services, Windows/Linux OS, remote desktop services, storage management, disaster recovery testing/planning, network circuit management, load balancer configuration.
  • Proficiency in Azure and VM expertise is required.
