Why we're looking: We are expanding and seeking an experienced Trader to join our team and help drive the success of our trading operations in the markets we cover. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in equity trading with intraday/day trading experience, with a deep understanding of financial markets and the ability to make informed and timely decisions. As a key member of the trading team, you will be responsible for developing and executing intraday trading strategies ( Responsibilities Monitor market trends, news, and economic data to make informed trading decisions Master and execute trading algorithmic and discretionary strategies Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management Identify and navigate trading risks and opportunities with discipline and consistency Qualifications 3 - 5 years of relevant trading experience in high-frequency trading (HFT) and/or professional equity trading with a strong track record of success and a proven P&L Own or operate successful alphas/strategies Quick and decisive thinking and the ability to perform in a dynamic and stressful environment Knowledge of any programming language is an added advantage (e.g., Python)A strong passion for competitive activities such as trading, games, or sports What We Offer 21 days annual leave Opportunity to learn from experienced professionals with mentorship and personal growth Comprehensive Insurance Package with extended coverage for dependents Well stocked pantry Annual Dental & Wellness budget Gym membership Competitive compensation What You Can Expect Working At Grasshopper: At Grasshopper, you will be working in a diverse and dynamic environment with a flat hierarchy.
