Overview
My client is a leading international law firm with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region. With over two decades of experience in the region, the firm is highly regarded in its commitment to delivering strategic, client-focused legal solutions through a collaborative and commercially-minded approach. They are looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Business Development and Marketing Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves working closely with partners and stakeholders to drive client engagement, support major pursuits, and enhance business development capabilities. The position includes leadership of a small local team and collaboration with regional and global colleagues.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies for Singapore and regional practice groups.
Lead marketing initiatives focused on key clients and service lines.
Manage strategic client relationships and contribute to global and regional client programs.
Conduct client interviews and follow-ups as part of the client insights program.
Coach partners and lawyers on business development and client relationship skills.
Identify cross-selling opportunities across practice areas and geographies.
Oversee strategic pursuits and proposal development.
Drive thought leadership aligned with firm priorities.
Analyze market and client data to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development within a law firm or professional services environment.
Knowledge of the insurance sector is advantageous.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strategic thinker with attention to detail and execution capability.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
High levels of integrity, adaptability, and a proactive, optimistic approach.
