Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and minimum 10 years of experience in the architectural industry, preferably in Singapore or Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting with clients and other professionals to agree on project briefs;
  • Developing project briefs and working on them throughout the project;
  • Preparing design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing methods;
  • Contributing to planning applications and regulatory procedures;
  • Understanding how design aspects influence performance and functional issues;
  • Following up on detailed design processes and coordinating design information;
  • Liaising with authorities to obtain statutory approval;
  • Coordinating consultants and advising clients on procurement;
  • Leading tender documentation and construction drawings preparation;
  • Assisting in contract administration and project certifications;
  • Obtaining client feedback and site visits to check progress;
  • Solving problems during the building/construction stage;
  • Carrying out defect inspections;
  • Managing junior staff/direct reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia;
  • Able to work within a team and fast-paced environment; Familiar with building regulations;
  • Strong Portfolio;
  • Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.
