Job Title: Senior Sustainability and Safety Manager

Elevate your career as a Senior Sustainability and Safety Manager, where you will oversee the development and implementation of company-wide EHS policies, standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain robust EHS management systems that ensure regulatory compliance and drive best-in-class performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to embed a proactive safety culture across all projects, ensuring a safe and hazard-free work environment.
  • Collaborate with site leadership, corporate management, and stakeholders to achieve high EHS standards and targets on all projects.
  • Lead regular site inspections to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on the latest regulations and industry developments, providing expert advice to management on potential impacts.
  • Digitally enhance EHS performance by implementing digital tools and collecting data from sites to analyze and improve project EHS performance.
  • Plan and implement comprehensive training programs for staff, workers, and subcontractors, maintaining thorough training records.

Requirements:

  • Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 12 years of EHS experience in construction, with 7 years in a managerial capacity for building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS management principles, including ISO9001, ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate vision, goals, and strategies to influence teams.
  • Proven ability to adapt to challenges, respond decisively, and maintain accountability for EHS performance.
