**Position**: Sustainability Intern
**Base Location**: Singapore
**Department**: Technical Services
**Reporting to**: Sustainability Manager

This role is responsible for supporting the sustainability strategy at corporate office. He/she will support in developing sustainability initiatives and track key performance indicators to achieve company and property goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- To provide support to all directives on environmental protection, re-usage and minimum wastage, purchasing and single-usage packaging, community engagement and all other practices documented in the Sustainability Policy.
- To keep abreast with trends and industry leading best practices in sustainability.
- To support decision-making based on financial and sustainability goals.
- To create continual educational resources on sustainability issues.

From time to time you may be asked to undertake duties that are not included in this job description. You should agree to undertake these duties provided the request is reasonable and will not affect your health, safety or security.

**Key Requirements**:

- Major or minor in sustainability, environmental management/science, building or facility management, or sustainable design
- Knowledgeable in low carbon operation, resource, waste and safety sustainability planning and reporting in either the hospitality or other sectors would be a plus
- Continually curious about current best practices in corporate responsibility, environmental efficiency, sustainability reporting and hospitality, especially in locations where COMO hotels operate.
