Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As an Assistant Engineer in precision engineering, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily QC Oversight - support the Quality Manager in supervising QC inspectors and enforcing adherence to inspection SOPs.
  • First Article and New Product Inspection
  • Review of Quality Documentation & Customer Submission
  • Participating in internal / external audit on systems and processes (AS 9100 QMS)
  • Working with the team / supplier to resolve non-conformance issues
  • Enforcing practices of good safety culture and good manufacturing practices.
  • Ensuring all quality plans are properly documented and maintained.
  • Facilitating the implementation of quality system in the organisation.
  • Reviewing inspection Report, COC before releasing to customers
  • Monitoring quality control and assurance processes.
  • Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or QC in a precision machining environment
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 systems and management preferred
  • Experience working with ERP/QMS systems for quality documentation

Key Competencies:

  • Good knowledge in quality metrology and measurement equipment
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards, QMS documentation, and First Article requirements
  • Capability of reading and interpreting complex mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of CMM measurement principles and quality reporting formats
  • Strong communication skills for internal coordination and customer-facing situations
