Job Summary: Direct Contractor Pte Ltd are looking for a responsible lead carpenters to construct, install, and repair interior build in cabinets and fixtures made from wood and other materials. They need to work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to the safety standards of Singapore. Key Responsibilities: Carpenter lead: To lead all other carpenters and to control project sequence, ensuring all site fabrication and installation are in order. Construction and Installation : Must be able to measure job site and detect site issues prior to carpentry fabrication. Build mostly interior customize cabinets and fixtures. Measurements and Cutting : Use hand and power tools to Measure and shape wood and other materials. Drawings/ 3D Interpretation : Able to understand technical and 3D drawings and to break drawings for carpentry fabrication. Material Selection : Select appropriate materials based on project needs and ensure quality standards. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment. Collaboration : Work closely with other team / client / subordinates, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects efficiently. Customer Service : Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Qualifications: Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related field. Knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and strength for manual labor. Leadership skills to lead other teammates. Must be able to measure site and detect site issues prior to fabrication Working Conditions: Work hours 8 Am to 5 Pm Fabrication process and team discussion will be at Woodlands factory location and site installation will be around Singapore location Vehicle will be provided for site movement
