Data Centre Operations Expertise
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of inventory management, performing regular audits of data centre equipment to ensure optimal inventory controls are met, and coordinating the movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory movements
- Conduct thorough audits of data centre equipment to verify compliance with inventory policies
- Assist in the relocation of equipment using designated lifting tools
The successful candidate will possess at least 3–5 years' experience in data centre operations, inventory control, and logistics. A degree in a relevant field or equivalent is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a ticket-based environment are essential.
This role involves working within a dynamic team, collaborating on shift-based tactical management tasks such as prioritizing ticket queues, resolving escalations, and clearing blocking issues to enable seamless delivery of inventory and asset activities in accordance with service level agreements.
Key responsibilities also include assisting in material movement, shipping/receiving, and inventory management. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in handling sensitive data-bearing devices, managing hardware assets, and performing technical duties related to data centre operations.
