Job Title: Dormitory Operations Manager
About the Role:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage dormitory operations in compliance with Foreign Employee Dormitories Act (FEDA) and relevant regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring the well-being, safety, and health of residents and staff are maintained at the highest standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a vigorous pandemic and crisis response plan in collaboration with government agencies.
  • Achieve a minimum 90% occupancy rate based on a three-month rolling average.
  • Manage dormitory leases and tenancies, including allocation, extension, renewal, and termination.
  • Oversee and lead an in-house maintenance team in facility management, security, and crisis management.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) for dormitory operations, including safety and health, facility management, fault reporting, fire safety management, crisis management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol and SOP.
  • Conduct policy/process reviews to support effective dormitory operation and compliance.
  • Analyze trends, occupancy, and bed rates across geographical regions.
  • Devise marketing strategies to improve occupancy rates and income streams.
  • Engage government and non-government bodies for whole-of-government initiatives to enhance migrant workers' living conditions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years experience in dormitory management role.
  • Possess either PLRD or FSM certification.
  • Possession of CERT certification is optional but advantageous.
