Overview
Operation Executive Required in Singapore
Adecco is partnering with a global logistics and freight forwarding company. We are looking for an Ocean Operation Executive (Shipping Document, Permit) to join the team. This role supports ocean freight operations, shipping documentation and permit processing. The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires a background in either import or export within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
Permanent, full-time opportunity.
Location: East region, Changi South Street (Expo)
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm
Salary Package: up to $3500 basic + AWS
Responsibilities
Attend to email correspondence with customers & overseas agents.
Coordinate and plan the arrival schedules of Import / Export Ocean freight shipments to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
Monitor and track the status of incoming shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
Work closely with Carrier, Coloader and ground handling agents or freight forwarders to manage sailing schedules, cargo space allocation, and any issues related to outbound / inbound shipments.
Prepare & verify billing invoices from vendors or overseas agents. Follow quotations and verify costs; issue invoices to customers.
Prepare, review, and process all necessary import documentation, including Arrival Notice, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Import / Export Permit and Certificates of Origin.
Address and resolve customs-related issues, such as classification disputes or valuation problems, that could delay the release of goods.
Qualifications
Diploma in Logistics / Freight Forwarding
At least 2 years of ocean operations experience in logistics/freight forwarding
Proficient in MS Office
