Overview
Adecco is partnering with a Global logistics and freight forwarding company. We are looking for an Ocean Operation Executive (Shipping Document, Permit) to join the team in Singapore. Location: East region, Changi South Street (Expo). Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm. Salary Package: up to $3500 basic + AWS.
Responsibilities
Attend to email correspondence with customers & overseas agents.
Coordinate and plan the arrival schedules of Import / Export Ocean freight shipments to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
Monitor and track the status of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
Work closely with Carriers, Co-loaders and ground handling agents or freight forwarders to manage sailing schedules, cargo space allocation, and issues related to outbound / inbound shipments.
Prepare and verify billing invoices from vendors or overseas agents. Follow quotations and verify costs; issue invoices to customers.
Prepare, review, and process all necessary import documentation, including Arrival notices, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Import / Export Permits and Certificates of Origin.
Address and resolve customs-related issues, such as classification disputes or valuation problems, that could delay the release of goods.
Qualifications
Diploma in Logistics / Freight Forwarding.
At least 2 years of ocean operations experience in the logistics / freight forwarding industry.
Proficient in MS Office.
