Job Summary
The candidate is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and completion of projects within specified cost, time, and quality parameters. They must maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements at all times. The ideal candidate also actively contributes to the organisation's continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Description
Conduct project planning
Support the preparation of contractual and tender documents for approvals and submissions
Identify project requirements based on project size, scope, and timeline
Manage various disciplines and project teams to integrate the overall project plan
Assess integrated project plans for execution, risk management, safety, and quality assurance
Identify relevant regulatory and legislative prerequisites for project execution
Prepare project planning and execution documents for approval and submission in compliance with regulatory requirements
Drive project progress and completion
Prepare project progress reports
Prepare documents for approvals of variation requests
Manage project teams to work within timeline and budget
Ensure quality standards based on policies and procedures
Conduct site meetings with stakeholders
Manage overall project delivery on time, cost, and quality to meet obligations
Prepare project completion documents in compliance with regulatory requirements
Drive safety and sustainability
Assess compliance with Workplace Safety and Health policies
Conduct inspections to ensure safety policies are followed
Review accident and incident records
Implement environmental sustainability and green building standards
Manage project crises based on Business Continuity Management plans
Drive continuous improvement
Research latest trends and technologies in the Built Environment
Assess the viability of improvement initiatives
Implement risk management plans aligned with organisational frameworks
Key Qualifications
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in Building Information Modelling and Construction Technology
Strong foundation in Continuous Improvement and Contract Management
Advanced critical thinking, data collection, and analysis skills
Basic knowledge in Design for Maintainability
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure, managing multiple projects, including on-site work
