Programmes and Operations Director

The Programmes and Operations Director will play a pivotal role in supporting the work of our Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the management of our centres. This includes our satellite centres at ComLink. The Director will also be responsible for overseeing the overall quality and design of service programmes across our organisation.

We are seeking a client-centric, resourceful, proactive professional who possesses leadership and team management skills. The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Develop plans for professional development of staff within the organisation
  • Conduct regular operations review meetings with staff
  • Monitor programme expenses to ensure operations are within allocated budgets
  • Develop workplans for the centre in alignment with organisational goals
  • Lead resolution of operational issues within the centre
  • Manage engagement and performance of the programmes team

The Programme's scope encompasses:

Overseeing the Management of Centres

  • Staff Development: Developing strategies for enhancing staff skills and competencies
  • Operational Review: Conducting regular meetings to review and improve operational efficiency
  • Expense Monitoring: Ensuring programme expenses remain within budget allocations
  • Centre Workplans: Developing strategic workplans for each centre in line with organisational objectives
  • Operational Resolution: Leading the resolution of operational challenges within the centre
  • Team Performance: Managing the performance and engagement of the programmes team

Overseeing the Quality and Design of Service Programmes

  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating programme risks
  • Quality Compliance: Ensuring programmes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Implementation Strategy: Overseeing the implementation of operational strategies, programmes, and services for the programmes team
  • Service Standards: Continually reviewing and enhancing service standards, performance indicators, and operating guidelines for the centre/department
  • Professional Partnerships: Building partnerships with external agencies to enhance service delivery
  • Curriculum Development: Reviewing the effectiveness of programme curriculum and setting direction and theme for future development
  • Knowledge Networks: Participating in knowledge networks and communities of practice to align sectoral best practices with organisational service standards
