Job Title: Strategic Programme Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Programme Manager to lead our strategic initiatives, driving business growth and delivering exceptional results.

  • Leverage your expertise in programme management to develop and execute comprehensive plans, aligning with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
  • Establish robust frameworks and standards for programme management, ensuring seamless financial and KPI tracking, project cost management, and sound financial stewardship.
  • Provide proactive capacity planning and resource allocation services, optimising team performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate financial reporting, adhering to budget constraints while ensuring programme and project viability.
  • Effectively manage cross-programme dependencies, maintaining an up-to-date dependency log.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, capturing best practices and lessons learned from project closures.
  • Foster a cohesive team environment, motivating members to produce high-quality work and deliver outstanding results.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex programmes with large teams (5-25 people).
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery using AGILE methodology.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Efficient in resource planning and task assignment, with a focus on benefits and dependency mapping.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for reports and presentations.
  • Able to influence others at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Able to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions.
  • Experience in programme and project-level financial management.
  • Experience in defining and delivering benefits realisation for projects and programmes.
