Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Behaviour Change-Exercise & Sport Psychology
Location: Kensington, Sydney, Australia
Employment type: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Duration: Continuing
Remuneration: $127k - $178k base (+17% super and leave loading)

Overview
The School of Health Sciences at UNSW invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer role to develop and deliver Behaviour Change/Mental Health content and Sports Psychology curricula within Health Professional Programs. The role may be Education-focused or Teaching & Research, with or without a research expectation.
Responsibilities
Content development and delivery of Behaviour Change/Mental Health and Sports Psychology curricula across health professional programs.
Teach across disciplines (exercise, physiotherapy, dietetics, pharmacy) and within the Exercise Physiology program for Sports Psychology.
For Teaching & Research roles, conduct high-quality research and contribute to research leadership.
Participation in curriculum development and program delivery at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
Engage with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
Qualifications and experience
Level B – Education Focused: PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change) or equivalent combination of clinical experience and teaching; demonstrated experience in sub-disciplines; teaching design and delivery; educational technologies.
Level C – Education Focused (in addition to Level B): significant teaching and learning design experience; track record of teaching excellence; curriculum development; inclusive culture.
Level B – Teaching & Research: PhD in related discipline; experience in relevant sub-disciplines; teaching design; educational technologies; evidence of teaching effectiveness; leadership in learning and teaching; curriculum development; research track record; supervision of research students; industry engagement and funding potential.
Level C – Teaching & Research (in addition to Level B/C): extensive teaching design experience; strong track record of teaching excellence; ongoing research leadership.
