Job Summary

This role is focused on conducting routine and non-routine sample analysis in compliance with GLP/GCP guidelines, applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency regulations. Responsibilities

  • Organize and conduct sample analysis adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Manage samples ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive study documentation and laboratory records.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan, monitor, and guide project work.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with Study Director, Principal Investigator, and management regarding any issues that may impact data integrity.
  • Promote a cohesive team environment through active participation and contribution.
  • Develop skills in setting up and validating Immunotoxicology assays.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
  • Maintain awareness of all safety directives and procedures in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure a safe and clean laboratory workspace.
  • Train and support less experienced staff members.
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently contributing to a productive team environment.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Approved Procedures (AP), and Working Documents (WD).
  • Aid in report translation and revision.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in client visits and inspections as required.
  • Analyze data for report preparation and experiment modification as directed.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan individual workload.
  • Broaden expertise in a wide range of I&I procedures.
  • Consider financial implications of ongoing activities.
  • Maintain high levels of competence, integrity, and interpersonal skills to meet regulatory and quality objectives.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Laboratory Scientist I role or equivalent job discipline.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
  • Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment.
  • Desirable experience with analytical instrumentation.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software programs.
