SCM Demand Planner
to join their team.
Responsibilities
Demand Planning:
Analyze historical data and current market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate with production and sales teams to align forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and customer demand.
MRP Review and Analysis:
Regularly review and analyze MRP outputs to identify errors or discrepancies in inventory levels and demand forecasts.
Spot mistakes in the MRP process and take corrective actions to ensure alignment with actual requirements.
Raw Material Management:
Ensure that raw materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet production schedules.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate effective communication and timely deliveries.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with contract manufacturing partners to align on demand planning and inventory management strategies.
Communicate demand planning insights, potential issues, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and inventory management.
Implement best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a demand planner, specifically in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of SCM processes.
Proven experience with MRP systems and the ability to analyze and interpret MRP data.
Familiarity with contract manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
