Job Title: Field Application Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our APAC market growth and development. The successful candidate will supervise a team of Field Application Engineers, providing technical support to projects across APAC via email, phone calls, video conferencing, and on-site visits.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. They will work closely with the global Technical Support team to drive the resolution of complex issues and collaborate with the APAC Sales team for a seamless customer experience from Sales to Design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Field Application Engineers across APAC
  • Provide technical support to projects across APAC via various channels
  • Communicate effectively with international customers in English and Mandarin
  • Work with the global Technical Support team to resolve complex issues
  • Support Ecosystem partners in utilizing our platform and services
  • Investigate RMA products across APAC
  • Design and specify smart lighting controls solutions
  • Collaborate with the APAC Sales team for a smooth customer journey
  • Specify wireless lighting control solutions to projects in the market

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree preferred
  • Strong command of English and Mandarin
  • Proficient in providing hands-on demonstrations and explaining technical details
  • Experience with AutoCAD and electrical contractors/system integrators a plus
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of technical expertise and experience in lighting and lighting controls
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
