Job Description
You will be responsible for planning and implementing the Gardens' Calendar of Events. These festivals and events aim to attract new and repeat visitors through a year-round calendar of diverse programmes in an iconic outdoor garden setting. You will collaborate with industry and community partners to expand existing festivals, generate new programmes, and manage ad hoc events. The role requires drive and tenacity to curate and oversee major projects, involving strong collaboration with external stakeholders (including local and international communities) and close coordination with internal teams for programme implementation and marketing. Your key responsibilities include conceptualisation, planning, administration, procurement, budget management, and execution.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in leading or curating large-scale festivals and events
Good knowledge of project management, including planning, execution, and problem-solving skills
Strong network within the festivals, arts, and events industry
Experience organising community and outreach events and programmes
Excellent writing and communication skills
