Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked as part of this process.Symrise - always inspiring more...Junior/Fragrance Evaluator (Home Care), SEAO As a Fragrance Evaluator, you will play a key role in supporting the Fragrance Development team, particularly in consumer fragrance division. You will collaborate closely with Perfumers and cross-functional teams to help create high-quality fragrances tailored to client briefs. Under supervision, you will begin to lead projects, gaining hands-on experience in all stages of fragrance development. You will be actively involved in tracking olfactory trends, analyzing market launches, participating in fragrance collections and evaluations and supporting database maintenance. Exposure to client meetings will help you develop a deeper understanding of project goals and customer strategies. As part of your professional development, you will receive training in olfactive knowledge & fragrance families, market research techniques & trend analysis, fundamentals of fragrance chemistry, project management principles and applied research & regulatory requirements. The Position: Monitor the launch of new products and fragrances, analyze local and global olfactory trends and continuously develop olfactive expertise Collaborate closely with Perfumers to develop fragrances that align with client briefs, ensuring the highest quality and full compliance with customer requirements Develop project management skills within the scope of assigned projects with a focus on cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders. Demonstrate effective communication skills both internally and externally, fostering strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with Perfumers Actively contribute to collection initiatives by supporting the organization of regular fragrance evaluations and assisting with database maintenance. Gain exposure to customers by participating in client meetings when possible and begin developing an understanding of project objectives and client strategic direction. The Ideal Candidate: 1-3 years of experience in fragrance evaluation or related field preferred. Demonstrated passion for fragrances with a strong interest in the fragrance industry. Creative, curious, self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Basic olfactive skills with an understanding of fragrance families and scent evaluation capabilities Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively across teams Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to customers and engaging in discussions on briefs, technical aspects and project-related matters.
