We build AI tools that help legal teams speed up legal workflows such as contract review and drafting. Our product suite includes a web app and MS Word integration.

About the Role:

We are looking for a co-founder and CEO to launch a new B2B legal AI venture in APAC. As CEO, you will be responsible for the full scope of activities for the business, and have significant commercial and operational responsibility. Sahel AI will be your Co-founder; instead of just one person, you will have a team of ambitious builders and technical talent. This is a remote role but you should be based in an APAC country.

What You Will Do:

  • Build relationships with law firms and in-house legal teams in APAC
  • Oversee compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams, continually identifying opportunities for product improvement
  • Shape company vision, define and execute GTM strategy
  • Develop strategic partnerships to further the venture's growth
  • Partner on strategy and execution of fundraising from external VCs

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of legal experience, ideally in an APAC country
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to build a generational company in a fast-moving, frontier category
  • Scrappiness and willingness to get your hands dirty - moving from 0 to 1
  • Venture capital fundraising experience preferred
  • Enthusiastic about legal innovation and AI
