The **Co-Founder/Managing Partner **will be instrumental in providing leadership to our clients and teams across the region and the globe. They will handle everything from developing staff and managing projects to engaging with clients and customers to help drive economic success and continued innovation and evolution in the field. The perfect person for this role will have:
**Responsibilities**:
To be successful as a co-founder and managing partner you should be able to manage and advance a business's strategic objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding Managing Partner is an exceptional leader, drives a company's strategic visions, and is adept at consulting, business management, delivering exceptional results.

**Co-founder/Managing Partner Responsibilities**:

- Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Reporting to the board, providing market insights and strategic advice.
- Developing and implementing business plans to improve stakeholder engagement.
- Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities
- Overseeing the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures.
- Supervising, guiding, and delegating team members in their duties
- Build out business development plans and focus on key clients that can help advance Lightwheel’ s mission.
- Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated and followed
- Assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations.
- Building and enhancing the company's public profile at events, speaking engagements, etc.
- Build and deliver core competencies in ESG related fields and activities, and be able to consult, advise and support our partners and teams accordingly.
- Deliver results on client and engagement growth, and ensure a focus on sustainable and impact-based outcomes for the organization
- Live the culture and values espoused by the leadership and advisors

**Co-founder/Managing Partner Requirements**:

- 15 years+ work experience as a senior leader
- 5+ years consulting or working as a co-founder/senior leader in a start-up business
- 5+ years Board experience on Public/Private/Non-profit
- Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Master's degree in business, marketing, or related fields
- Continuing education in board related matters, ESG advisory services and leadership preferred
- Extensive experience as a managing partner or in a similar role in the past.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
- Business development and fundraising experience in SME to MNC roles
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and creating presentations for high level executives
- International travel greater than 50% per month
