What the role is:

You support the Branch Head in driving the User Experience (UX) vision and development aligning them with MINDEF/SAF's digital transformation goals.

What you will be working on:

- Oversee user research activities with internal and external stakeholders- Translate findings into actionable UX strategies and projects to enhance digital Operating Support Information Technology (OSIT) systems- Guide UX designers on wireframes and prototypes to ensure that the OSIT systems designed will meet user requirements- Provide management with recommendations and periodic reports on UX improvements to OSIT systems across the organisationChallenge(s)- Addressing the diverse needs to users while balancing technical and operational constraints across various domains- Staying up to date with evolving technology trends and applying them meaningfully to UX enhancements within IT systems and services

What we are looking for:

- Education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and/or related professional qualifications- At least 3 years of experience working in the IT industry as a manager (or equivalent role) in a technical or engineering setting- Strong communication and leadership skillsAppointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
