Salary varies depending on working experience. Wok Cooks Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing raw ingredients prior to cooking, chopping, marinating and portioning Prepare and cook all menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Ensure safe handling, storage, and cooking of all food products Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage orders efficiently during busy periods Maintain food hygiene and safety protocols as per requirement. Chicken Rice Cooks Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook chicken rice dishes to consistent standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene Ensure mise en place is completed before service and restocked as needed throughout the day Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards at your workstations Monitor and maintain the freshness and proper storage of raw ingredients Assist with daily food preparation, including boiling chicken, preparing rice, soup, sauces, and side dishes Work closely with the Head Chef/Assistant Chef to ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations Communicate any issues related to stock, equipment, or workflow to the Assistant Chef Adhere to portion control and waste minimization practices to help manage food cost Uphold food safety and sanitation standards Kitchen Assistant – Wok Section Main Responsibilities Assist the chef with basic food preparation, such as peeling, washing, and cutting vegetables. Slice and marinate proteins including chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. Pre-cook or blanch ingredients such as broccoli, noodles, or rice for faster stir-frying later. Portion ingredients in advance to improve wok station efficiency. Assist in preparing common Chinese sauces Refill sauce containers as needed. Prepare or heat up broths or stocks used for soups or braised dishes. Pass ingredients to the head chef during busy periods. Ensure the wok area is well-stocked with cooking oil, sauces, and seasonings. Wipe and clean the wok station after each dish is cooked. Wash, sanitize, and store cutting boards, knives, prep tools, and cooking utensils. Regularly clean stoves, worktops, and prep tables Always comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. Kitchen Assistant – Chicken Rice Section Main Responsibilities Assist the chef with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, cutting, and portioning chicken, vegetables, and other ingredients. Help with plating chicken rice, soups, and side dishes during peak hours. Prepare sauces, seasonings, and garnishes according to recipes or given instructions. Ensure all kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas are kept clean, sanitized, and in good working condition. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment after use. Properly receive and store ingredients, ensuring the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method is followed. Handle kitchen waste correctly and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Assist in ingredient preparation and replenishing supplies during operating hours. Always comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
