Overview of the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual to join our team as a Management Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in a fast-paced environment.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the management team in daily operations, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring that all employees adhere to standard procedures.
Main Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance
    • Responsible for achieving sales volume targets through effective upselling strategies.
    • Anticipate business volumes by staying informed about upcoming events and public holidays.
  • Administrative Procedures
    • Ensure timely submission of information and reports.
    • Liaise with government agencies and third-party service providers to ensure compliance.
    • Coordinate procurement to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Manpower Issues
    • Ensure all employees adhere to grooming standards.
    • Report any work-related injuries within 24 hours.
  • Managerial Issues
    • Communicate clear management issues to the team.
    • Disseminate marketing initiatives to the team.
  • Operational Issues
    • Oversee the appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance of the restaurant.
    • Ensure the restaurant meets hygiene standards.
    • Identify opportunities for operational improvement.
On-Job-Training and Security On Cash, Properties/Assets
The Management Trainee will also be responsible for conducting on-the-job training for new employees, ensuring they understand standard procedures and kitchen protocols. Additionally, they will manage cash handling, stock inventory, and equipment usage.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and able to work well under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role or industry is desirable but not essential.
