Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT infrastructure specialist to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions
- Maintain and support existing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases
- Perform daily operations of the production application systems, including health monitoring, OS patching, and security enhancements
- Work closely with project development teams and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation of new projects and systems service requests
- Embrace new technologies such as Cloud, containers, and DevOps for new systems/projects
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a Singapore Citizen
- Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent experience with Linux/MCSE/Unix Certification(s)
- Must have knowledge and working experience of Linux, preferably 2+ years hands-on experience in system administration for production systems
- Experience in OS patching and upgrade, system security, OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, backup, and recovery techniques
- Working experience in networking (TCP/IP), physical hardware, and/or storage systems
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of Unix (Solaris or AIX or other Unix) will be advantageous
- Knowledge and working experience of apache server, middleware WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ, etc. will be advantageous
- Good working attitude, self-motivator, and team player
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
